The Julius Cronenberg Sophienhammer (JCS) group of companies can look back on more than 300 years of tradition as a family business.

It has now been owned by the Cronenberg families for 10 generations. After about 240 years as a forge for scythes and sickles, an aggressive diversification began in the 1950s: a diverse portfolio of different products was built up, which are developed, produced and distributed either in the original company Julius Cronenberg oH or numerous sister and subsidiary companies throughout Europe, and in recent years also in Asia.

On this website we would like to give you an overview of our diverse activities. Very soon you will realise that our motto "Forging change - forging change" will be a constant driving force for us also in the future! We wish you an interesting JCS experience!
