The Julius Cronenberg Sophienhammer company was founded more than 300 years ago. Since the first scythe hammer was swung in 1711, JCS has developed into a diversified group of companies to this day.

In 2011, we celebrated our 300th anniversary with numerous activities and many guests. Our chronicle and a scientific publication give an impression of this long history.
